Research into Out-of-Body Experiences
and Inner Growth

The Out-of-Body-Experience (OBE), also known as astral projection, is a natural phenomenon in which the consciousness (soul, spirit) leaves the physical body. The OBE is a completely different phenomenon from either an ordinary dream or a lucid dream. It is a real situation experienced in another dimension. The OBE allows the understanding of the human interrelationship with the invisible, yet real, dimensions of existence that surround us. The mastering of one's vital energies (a.k.a. bioenergies, chi, prana) is the key to conscious, controlled astral projections.

The field of research into OBEs will be presented, as well as several of the research initiatives currently under way and their conclusions.

Depending on the ideas of participative research, consensus-based research, subjective observations and objective conclusions are key towards understanding the research into the subject.

Other subjects related to the OBE include: the study of the subtle bodies; relationship with Near-Death experiences (NDEs); overcoming the fear of death; the use of bioenergies to produce the phenomena and positively affect others; paranormal manifestation; life and death; spiritual maturity; and the understanding of the non-physical body; as well as how to use the OBE to experience directly other non-physical dimensions.

TIME: Friday, 7:30 p.m., January 27, 2012
PLACE: Unity Community Church – Y.E.S. Hall, 3391 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto
(doors open at 7 p.m.)

Out-of-Body Experiences and Personal Evolution 2 Day Workshop with Luis Minero and IAC instructors

Saturday & Sunday, Janurary 28-29
1:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Masonic Lodge Dining Room, 146 Main Street, Los Alt

Astral travel, lucid projection, or out-of-body experience (OBE) is a tool to develop spiritually and to experience directly other non-physical dimensions. The advantages and benefits of learning this capacity will be explained, like developing greater awareness, contacting spirit guides, identifying our life task, mastering Bioenergies, and understanding the processes of death and dying and the consequences for spiritual growth and evolution. Some common methods and usual entry and exit sensations will be taught.

Some of the main topics covered in this weekend:

• Non-physical bodies and their features
• Preparation for the out-of-body experience
• Common sensations during take-off and return to the body
• Vital energy and its different types
• Multiple or extraphysical (astral) dimensions
• Benefits of OBEs and other psychic phenomena
• Practical application of Bioenergy techniques
This practical workshop covers information, which given gradually, allows the learner to enhance self-control. This weekend workshop is the equivalent of the Consciousness Development Program - Module 1 (or CDP1), which has already won international acclaim: life-transformation-award

The method strives to teach not only the process and techniques for leaving the body, but also all of its consequences, for the participant to achieve greater awareness and inner development.

Paid in advance: $135 FMBR members, $150 non-members
Day of the event: $150 FMBR members, $165 non-members

7:15 pm: Short Topic
Sally Clark Will Speak on
"Guided After Death Communication"

Sally Clark will be speaking about the afterlife connections which continue between the person and his or her loved ones. Using bi-lateral stimulation and other methods developed by Rochelle Wright, the client clears traumatic experiences and opens to a deeper, more expanded place that allows an unfolding of the afterlife connection. In a sense a portal has opened. Sally is a licensed therapist who trained with Rochelle and who is using her methods to facilitate people in making their own connections with their deceased loved one; in the process grief and other traumas are resolved. As Chief Seattle said, "There is no death, only a change of worlds."

Torsion as a Force of the Universe - What's in it for Us?

Kevin Kiser

During the November meeting of the FMBR, Dr. Claude Swanson discussed a candidate for a fifth force of the universe, which he called 'torsion'. If accepted by the physics mainstream, this force would join electromagnetism, gravity, and the strong and weak nuclear forces as the only recognized means of causing movement and change in the universe. This may sound like a significant step forward in science, but why should we even care? If we are not physicists, what possible relevance could this event have for us? To address this question, I will turn back the hands of time to the late eighteen-hundreds. Electricity was still just a curiosity of the science labs, and magnetism was useful for locating the North Pole and making children's toys. Many gentlemen scientists had done experiments with both electricity and with magnetism, and some had even established that there was a relationship between the two.

But it wasn't until James Clerk Maxwell published his celebrated equations of electromagnetism in 1873 that it could be said that this force was well understood. Using these equations, many new realizations and ideas were able to enter human consciousness. Light was an electromagnetic phenomenon. Electromagnetic signals could be created by moving electricity back and forth in a wire. These signals could be sent over very long distances. The signals could be modulated to carry information. And so on, and so forth. In short order (socially speaking), we had radio, television, radar, communication satellites, radio telescopes, walkie-talkies, car phones, cell phones, wi-fi, and iPads. The world changed in ways that would have been unimaginable to Maxwell and his predecessors, but that most of us would find it difficult to imagine living without. If Dr. Swanson and the other researchers who are studying torsion are really onto something, then we are still in the 'pre-1873' era of torsion.

A relationship between torsion and gravity has been noted, but it is still unclear what that connection is. Once the equations are found, assuming they exist, a whole new field of technological possibilities will open before us. If we gain control over the force of gravity, we are likely to see revolutions in transportation (levitating George Jetson car anyone?), space travel (time travel?), construction, power generation, commodity distribution (an end to global hunger?), and of course, a million things we can't even imagine right now.

So, would this discovery be relevant to most of us? My best guess is that a quarter of a century after the ink dries on the experimentally-verifiable equations of torsiogravity, the world will be as unrecognizable to the people of today as our world would be to the average Victorian citizen or wagon train settler. And if, as Dr. Swanson seems to believe, this will also signal the beginning of a health revolution, perhaps most of us will live to see it.

Review of "Thrive" Documentary by Foster Gamble

Thrive is a new documentary produced by Foster and Kimberly Carter Gamble (of the Proctor and Gamble family). I thoroughly enjoyed this documentary and would give it 5 stars. The premise of the documentary is that all life on Earth is meant to thrive - yet very few of us do. Most people on the planet are just trying to survive. The documentary lays out the reasons we are not thriving, what we need in order to thrive and some ways to achieve this higher state of life on the planet.

Having free or inexpensive and clean energy is one central key to thriving. In exploring energy, Foster Gamble introduces us to the torus and torsion energy (presented to us by Claude Swanson at our November meeting) and the concepts of Arthur Young (discussed by Michael Buchele at our October meeting). The torsion field may be at the heart of sacred geometry, space travel, and the unlimited energy that can fuel the world; it was probably at the heart of Tesla's work when he wanted to give us unlimited low cost energy. Advances in low cost energy have been made in the past and the inventors have typically met with untimely deaths or their work was destroyed. Similarly, key advances in medicine and health care have been suppressed.

Our educational system does not foster creativity and often results in a population that is docile and subservient to authority. Our food supply is now controlled by large corporations, often using genetically controlled seeds, chemical fertilizers and petroleum based pesticides. There is a huge imbalance in wealth distribution, with 1% of the population owning 90% of the wealth. The documentary explores how all of this came about, with the facilitation of the Federal Reserve System (privately owned) and the world banking systems. The documentary then talks about solutions that should be at the forefront of our consciousness, to enable the world to thrive.

My recommendation: Check out the Thrive web site (www.thrivemovement.com) and arrange to watch the documentary.
