Understanding Life Purpose and Life Lessons from Fingerprints
Richard Unger
Fingerprints are formed five months prior to birth and are unalterable thereafter. As everyone knows, no two sets of fingerprints are alike. What is not commonly known is that your fingerprints reveal a storehouse of health information and psychological factors. The study of fingerprints by doctors and other scientists is called dermatoglyphics and has generated over 6,000 books and published papers (in English alone). Richard Unger, hand analyst and Director of the International Institute of Hand Analysis, has combed through this research and combined it with his own experience reading over 56,000 pair of hands to come up with a rosetta stone for life purpose analysis.
In this lecture, Mr. Unger will detail how fingerprints are formed and how this allows us to see encoded information about our Life Purpose. Famous lives will be looked at through this new and highly personal window. Richard will discuss how knowing your life purpose will change your understanding of your current circumstances and future possibilities. In the one day workshop, Richard will guide you through a study of your own fingerprints. Your life purpose will be identified and explained. You will learn enough in this one day workshop to read and interpret the fingerprints of your family and friends.
Topics of this presentation will include:
- The history of fingerprint analysis + the history of palmistry,
- What is life purpose
- The fingerprints of JFK, Martin Luther King, Albert Einstein and other famous men and women.

What is a Near Death Experience?
A Panel of Speakers
A near-death experience or NDE is a profound spiritual event that may occur to a person who has died and either chose or was told to return, or was close to death or who is not near death but in a situation of physical or emotional crisis. An NDE may begin with an out-of-body experience--a very clear perception of being somehow separate from ones physical body, possibly even hovering nearby and watching events going on around the body. The effects of an NDE are often life-changing, and its details will typically be remembered clearly for decades.
Our October 22 NDE panel will describe their personal near-death experiences and share insights.
Topics of this presentation will include:
- Scientific evidence regarding NDEs
- Are people who 'die' and have NDEs really dead?
- Life-changing experiences and enhanced abilities (ESP,PK) after a NDE
- The Aware Project (Awareness through Resuscitation)
The panel will be hosted by Bill Virga, M.A. Transpersonal Psychology and FMBR member.
Panel
Nadia McCaffrey, Yolaine Stout, and Ellie Schamber, PhD.
Nadia McCaffrey, www.north-ca-iands.org/NDES.html, has had three NDEs and is featured in over 30 documentaries.
Yolaine Stout is the founder of ACISTE (American Center for the Integration of Spiritually Transformative Experiences) and former president of IANDS (International Association for Near-Death Studies).
Ellie Schamber, PhD, has spoken at IANDS and other organizations. The three near-death experiencers will share their stories, discuss NDE research and answer questions. Yolaine will show clips from her upcoming documentary called "Back to Life: Six Challenges Faced by Near-Death Experiencers."

Believing in Einstein, Darwin and God
Bernard Haisch, PhD
“In 2006, astrophysicist Bernard Haisch published The God Theory, an exploration of the scientifically taboo notion that an infinite conscious intelligence lies behind the created world...With his new book, The Purpose-Driven Universe, Haisch uses his God Theory to [show] how both atheists and traditional theists may be missing a deeper truth. Taking readers on an entertaining tour of quantum physics, cosmology and non-dual spirituality, he offers a series of scientifically and philosophically sound justifications for finding an ‘uplifting sense of purpose’ in the evolutionary process—a process that has led, miraculously, from stardust to us.”
-- EnlightenNext Magazine)
Join Dr. Haisch as he explains how and why it has begun to look likely that the creation of the Universe in the Big Bang happened for a purpose, rather than by chance. He will speculate on what that purpose might be, and on the necessary central role of Darwinian evolution.

This Is Your Blood on Processed Food
Beverly Rubik
Live blood analysis offers a glimpse into the biological terrain or "soil" of the body by examining blood at high power under a microscope. Many holistic practitioners consider the biological terrain at the root of one's health. On his deathbed, Louis Pasteur, founder of the Germ Theory, contradicted his life's work when he said that the germ is nothing, the terrain is everything. Photographs and short videos of blood magnified 8000 times from research on the blood will be shown and explained. Key factors and their indications will be discussed: clotting factors, red blood cell stickiness and clumping, and white blood cell movement. The mysterious microbial forms in the blood, and their controversial interpretations by Wilhelm Reich, Gunther Enderlein, and others will also be discussed.

Beverly Rubik earned her PhD in biophysics at U.C. Berkeley. She is internationally renowned for her pioneering research and has published over 80 papers and 2 books. Dr. Rubik serves on the editorial boards of Journal of Alternative & Complementary Medicine; Evidence-Based Integrative Medicine; and Integrative Medicine Insights. She founded the Institute for Frontier Science, a nonprofit corporation for research and education in Emeryville, CA, where she conducts research on frontier science and medicine.
She is a professor in Interdisciplinary Studies at Union Institute and University, Cincinnati, OH; and is adjunct professor of Integrative Health at the California Inst. of Integral Studies in San Francisco, CA. Dr. Rubik has won awards for her research, including the Alyce and Elmer Green Award given in 2009 by the ISSSEEM. She serves as a consultant in the health care industry on maverick health products and as a holistic health educator to individual clients at Health Medicine Center in Walnut Creek.

The World of Science, and a Science of the World
Peter A. Sturrock,
Memoirs of a Dissident Scientist is one scientist's reflection on a successful sixty- year career. Professor Sturrock has trod an unusual path, combining a variety of innovative research in mainstream science with another variety of studies well outside the mainstream. Although most scientists look with a jaundiced eye on topics such as parapsychology and UFO research, he views them simply as more grist for the scientific mill, regarding topics outside the mainstream as major challenges rather than minor annoyances best swept under the rug.
A Tale of Two Sciences has three sections: the first reviews the author's conventional research. The second reviews his unconventional research. The third presents his speculations on how these two presently distinct ventures might be reconciled, to their mutual advantage.
With a clear and simple style - and occasional humor - Sturrock presents both scientists and nonscientists with a refreshingly open and unprejudiced perspective on science. He shows that scientific thinking can be applied to a wide range of topics - unconventional as well as conventional - and even to topics that are normally considered beyond the purview of science, such as the Shakespeare authorship question. Metamorphosis--A Multimedia Presentation
Jonathan Quintin
This time on Earth is unlike any other. The old world is dying and a new world is being born. It can be so easy to feel overwhelmed with all the turmoil occurring around us. Sacred geometry, however, can help us navigate our way through the precarious seas. Sacred geometry is the ancient art, science and philosophy of space and proportion. It addresses the laws of creation and the inner workings of nature. It has been used by civilizations around the world for thousands of years as a way of connecting with the harmony of Universal Order. Sacred geometry reveals a world of profound order and sublime beauty. It can be comforting to experience unchanging principles in an ever-changing world. It can help us align with the forces of nature so we can move in harmony with the changes rather than be overwhelmed by them. The presentation includes a new feature involving the interplay of radiant and reflective color that causes static mandalas to spring to life and go through amazing metamorphic transformations before your very eyes.

Speaker's Bio

Jonathan Quintin/ Artist and Cosmologist
Jonathan Quintin was born and raised in provincial New Zealand. From an early age he was attracted to the teachings of ancient wisdom and the beauty and order of nature. He left home at an early age and worked at marine radio stations around New Zealand before venturing overseas at the age of 21. That marked the beginning of his many years of extensive travels around the world - with a particular interest in ancient civilizations. His radio qualifications enabled him to find employment on ships and oil rigs in the North Sea and with the United Nations in the Middle East.
For the past 24 years he has pursued a course of comprehensive study and artistic expression of sacred geometry. The fundamental premise of his work is that at every level of existence - from the microcosm to the macrocosm - the same key patterns bring all things into manifestation.
Jonathan's quest as an artist is to provide various modalities that help attune human consciousness to the harmony of universal order. He shows how the shapes, patterns and forms of sacred geometry are harmonic keys that can help open us to states of higher consciousness.
