Human Devolution: A Vedic Alternative to Darwin's Theory
Michael Cremo
![Cremo
<![CDATA[]]>](https://fmbr.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Cremo.png)
Human Devolution, the sequel to Forbidden Archeology, presents a Vedic alternative to the currently dominant theory of human origins. Most scientists now believe that humans of the modern type emerged between one and two hundred thousand years ago, having evolved from more primitive apelike hominids. But there is a significant amount of archeological evidence, in the form of anatomically modern human skeletal remains, footprints, and artifacts, showing that humans of our type have existed in the very distant past, at times the current theory cannot accommodate. Furthermore, genetic evidence, although suggestive, has not definitively established humanity's evolutionary origin from ancient apes. Therefore there is a genuine need for an alternative explanation.
But before we ask the question "where did human beings come from?" we should first of all ask the question "what is a human being?" Today most scientists believe humans are simply combinations of ordinary matter. But if we consider all the evidence that comes to us from various fields of research, we shall see that it is more reasonable to say that a human being is a combination of three things: matter, mind, and consciousness (or spirit). Of the three, consciousness is primary. We do not evolve up from matter, but rather we devolve, or come down, from a realm of pure consciousness or spirit. During this devolutionary process, the conscious self is covered by mind and matter. But the process can be reversed, through spiritual re-evolution. And that is the primary purpose of human existence, which is now burdened by too much concentration on the exploitation of matter.
Speaker's Bio
Michael Cremo, also known as the 'forbidden archeologist', is hailed as a groundbreaking research pioneer and international authority on archeological anomalies. His landmark bestseller, Forbidden Archeology, challenged the very foundation of Darwinian evolution. Michael continues to "dig up" enigmatic discoveries in the fossil record and "shake up" accepted paradigms, exploring famous archeological sites around the world and journeying to sacred places in India. As he crosses disciplinary and cultural boundaries, he presents to his various audiences a compelling case for negotiating a new consensus on the nature of reality. Michael Cremo is a member of the World Archeological Congress and the European Association of Archaeologists as well as a research associate in history and philosophy of science for the Bhaktivedanta Institute. After receiving a scholarship to study International Affairs at George Washington University, Michael began to study the ancient Sanskrit writings of India known as the Vedas, broadening his academic knowledge with spirituality from the Eastern tradition.

Through the Key Whole...toward Thriving Science-based, Whole System, Spiritual Activism for the 21st Century
With Foster Gamble, Co-creator of the movie, THRIVE
Foster will present for an hour, leaving a full hour for interaction.
His talk, slide show and video clips will reveal how the hundreds of issues that the 1000+ Solutions Hub groups in the Thrive Network are tackling are all breakdowns in the wholeness of natural systems. They are usually perpetrated intentionally by the same small group of would-be controllers in their agenda for world domination.
The good news is that there are very few of these perpetrators compared to those of us who long for and working for a just and thriving world; their plan is getting exposed and crumbling; and the key to all the solutions is a recognition of the wholeness of each system in nature with strategies and tactics to restore them.

The key to success is the torus -- pictured in the I-ASC logo. From free energy devices and hydrological cycles to honest, free economies and health and justice approaches -- the blueprint for sustainability of a healthy system at any scale is the toroidal vortex.
Foster will track how science, the free market and philosophy inform his own path of inner and outer liberation as well as fueling the success of the Thrive Movie and Movement in applying these understandings to effective principles-based (vs. political) activism.
Speaker's Bio
Foster's quest took two paths: a scientific journey and an exploration of the human potential to navigate through the challenges threatening our survival.
In his search for a way out of our demise, Foster trained and taught in Aikido -- the non-violent martial art. He created a training and technology company, MindCenter, and Interaction Dynamics, a program for mastering skills in communication and conflict resolution. He combined Aikido energy principles and mind fitness techniques in Zonesport Training, which helped athletes to enhance their performance. He also developed LifeBalance addressing the challenge of balancing one's personal, family and professional lives.
Foster's exploration of "living geometry" came to fruition in 1997 when he co-convened the Sequoia Symposium, a multi - disciplinary scientific think tank exploring perspectives on "Unification Theory." There, the primary energy patterning of the universe was clarified and recognized as a blueprint for designing sustainable technologies and social systems. This discovery represents the convergence of science and the evolution of consciousness that Foster set out to explore as a young man, and is the "code" featured in his documentary film, THRIVE: What On Earth Will It Take?

The Evolution of Consciousness
With Peter Russell
For years Western Science has relegated consciousness to an epiphenomenon created by the brain. There are, however, serious problems with this approach and an alternative worldview is emerging in which consciousness is an essential quality of the cosmos.
With human beings, this universal consciousness has evolved to the stage of self-reflective consciousness -- we are aware that we are aware -- opening us to new realms of imagination and innovation. Yet, at the same time, our newfound powers are also threatening our survival as a species. We are being asked to step beyond a limited ego-centric consciousness and awaken to our true nature, to discover for ourselves the inner peace and freedom spoken of by mystics the world over.

Speaker's Bio
Peter Russell is an author, public speaker, and multimedia producer who is recognized as a leading thinker on consciousness and contemporary spirituality. He coined the term "global brain" with his 1980's bestseller of the same name in which he predicted the Internet and the impact it would have on humanity. He is the author of nine books, including Waking Up in Time, and From Science to God.
His principal interest is the inner challenges of the times we are passing through. Peter believes if we are to navigate our way safely through these turbulent times we need to listen to the wisdom of the world's spiritual traditions, as well as to our current scientific understanding. The Source Code: Programming the Algorithm for Instantaneous Impacts
With Mas Sajady
A former computer programmer by trade, Mas owned a successful internet company and was living a normal and content life with his wife and children. In 2007, he survived a deadly drowning accident and had his second near death experience. After the NDE, Mas was guided into extraordinarily profound meditations on a regular basis. Soon he was granted the rare access to the back-end algorithms of the frequency blueprint of our lives. He was also gifted with the ability to reprogram the source code which created instantaneous impacts on our physical realities. Mas was first astonished - his left-brained training demanded proof to these seemingly miraculous abilities. After working countless hours on thousands of cases with documented results, all the while seeking answers in his deep meditations, Mas came to understand that these 'miracles' are the demonstrations of quantum physics, some approved by science while most haven't been understood but all are co-creations with the undeniably power of Pure Source. We are truly spiritual beings exploring limitlessness in physical form.

Perennial Wisdom as the Source of Physics
With Sky Nelson, physicist
Can physics be derived from consciousness? Our Western cultural worldview seems to unconsciously mirror the scientific mainstream view that assumes consciousness as an emergent phenomenon from the background of space and time. Sky departs from this, following the hypothesis that physics can be derived from principles of perennial wisdom.
The path will begin with a holistic principle, "There is one unified entity in existence (Self), which perceives the world (itSelf) through localized perspectives, individually, one at a time." From there we see how we might derive the fundamental postulates of special relativity and quantum mechanics from this overarching concept. Showing that light can be considered "timeless," we develop a model of an "information realm" that ties together quantum theory and special relativity. We discover that the constant speed of light and the relativity of reference frames are consistent with, and maybe derivable from, this perennial wisdom. We also discuss a central pillar of quantum mechanics, the "single-framework rule," and see its relationship to the perennial wisdom. In all, we will find a perspective on physics and consciousness that is harmonious and enlightening. This view is part of an important movement to understand the roots of physics more clearly, and bring about a fresh vision for the role of consciousness in society.

Speaker's Bio
Before studying physics at UC Berkeley and moving into a career teaching science, playing music, and writing software, Sky Nelson-Isaacs was a childhood student of Swami Satchidananda. Alongside calculus and electromagnetism, he found personal meaning and glimpses of a deeper truth in the sacred texts of Buddhism, Hinduism and Taoism. In 2009, inspired by ever-increasing experiences of synchronicity, he published two academic papers exploring a scientific mechanism for the phenomenon. That ongoing research has led him to return to school for graduate work in 2015 in order to continue pursuing the field. Sky believes a unified view of "physics" can be found, but it must include consciousness and meaning as part of its scope. This new physics can be a foundation for the holistic and integrated worldview that is currently emerging around us. Sky is a father and husband, living in Santa Rosa, CA.

Forbidden Psychology and Its Eight Taboos: A Jungian Conversation About Psyche, Soul, and the New Physics.
With Jerry Kroth, PhD

"The idea that the soul is to be reduced to mind, the mind to the brain, the brain to neurological dribbles, and all human psychological behavior ultimately to neuroscience has rarely been critically evaluated within the profession. Dr. Kroth discusses eight major taboos that fly in the face of these preconceptions: near death experiences, psychic dreams, telepathy, synchronicity, premonitions, creative possession, archetypes, and xenoglossy.
These anomalies of psychology are then compared to the bizarre discoveries of the "new physics:" observer-created reality, entanglement, nonlocality, quantum teleportation, Schrodinger's cat and the EPR paradox.
Physics confronted these mysteries head on despite the fact that experimental outcomes contradicted deterministic, reductionistic, mechanistic, Newtonian clockwork cosmology, but it handled its anomalies with openness and full disclosure.
That is a far cry from how academic psychology's orthodoxy treats similar contradictions of its own ossified paradigm of reductionism and clockwork determinism. Jung's work with quantum physicist Wolfgang Pauli will also find its way into this discussion."

The Global Coherence Initiative: Measuring Human-Earth Energetic Interactions
Rollin McCraty, PhD
Rollin McCraty, PhD will discuss the Global Coherence Initiative (GCI), which is examining the interactions between humanity and the earth's energetic fields. An important aspect of the GCI is the Global Coherence Monitoring System which is designed to measure the resonances in the magnetic fields generated by the earth and ionosphere. A substantial body of scientific research suggests that earth's geomagnetic activity affects our physiology, psychology and behaviors. Examples of research conducted in our laboratory confirming that when an individual is in heart coherence, the heart radiates a more coherent electromagnetic signal into the environment, which can be detected by nearby animals or the nervous systems of other people will be discussed. In addition, new data showing correlations between rhythms in solar, geomagnetic, and ionospheric fields and human nervous system activity will be shown, including data that suggests humanity is far more interconnected with each other and the earth's magnetic field environment that previously imagined.

Whatever Happened to Star Gate?
The Military & Intelligence use of Anomalous Cognition
(a.k.a., Extrasensory Perception--ESP) & More
Ed May, PhD
Our next meeting will include a two part presentation. First will be the story of how the US and former Soviet Union used remote viewing to spy on each other. Second, is a model of precognition: how is it possible for an event that will take place in India tomorrow to be reported in Palo Alto today?
The US Government's STAR GATE program lasted for over 20 years. Dr. May will give a brief history of its mission, how it was funded, and the technical and medical procedures involved in its oversight. He will also talk about how STAR GATE was viewed by high-level Soviet military and government officials, and will share examples of real-world spying.
The model of precognition is comprehensive and completely testable. It is based on a signal of some kind that goes backward in time to the present in what we call the physics domain; is picked up by a transducer (psychic retina if you will) and is processed in the brain in what we call the neuroscience domain.

Bioenergy (Chi) and Vibrational State Detection via fMRI
(functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
Wagner Alegretti
Wagner Alegretti, motivated by his own out-of-body experiences which started during his childhood, began consciousness research and education in 1980, specializing in subtle energy and psi phenomena. Bioenergy or chi has been known for millennia but its detection, measurement and theoretical understanding has eluded science. To help cover this serious gap in the comprehension of reality and consciousness manifestation, Alegretti designed and conducted a series of experiments using fMRI, aiming to shed light on:
- Neurological effects of the execution of bioenergy techniques and the vibrational state; and
- Physical effects of bioenergy and the mechanism of consciousness-physics interaction via bioenergy.
![Alegretti
<![CDATA[]]>](https://fmbr.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Alegretti.png)
Alegretti intends to present thought-provoking findings from experiments like bioenergy transmission to different types of substances like "fMRI phantom" liquid. Alegretti will discuss potential ramifications and applications of these breakthroughs, including the development of related "bioenergy technology."
Speaker's Bio
Wagner Alegretti, an electrical engineer, worked in power generation, medical equipment and software development. He has been conducting research in the field of consciousness and multidimensionality for more than 30 years and has extensive personal experience of bioenergy and psychic phenomena, including out-of-body experiences since childhood. He is the author of the book "Retrocognitions: An Investigation into Memories of Past Lives and the Period Between Lives." He has been instrumental in bringing multidimensional consciousness science into the international arena since he left Brazil and moved to the USA in 1994, and also in the establishment of the International Academy of Consciousness (IAC) and its research campus. He served as president of IAC from 2001 to 2014 and is currently one of its most senior researchers and faculty members. In 1984, Alegretti started working on the development of bioenergy (chi, subtle or vital energy) transducers. His pursuit for a reliable means of biofield detection led to his ongoing research program employing functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).

The Search for a Scientific Theory of Consciousness
Federico Faggin
The study and debate about the nature of consciousness has been primarily a philosophical and religious one until 20 years ago when a few neuroscientists started the search for neural correlates of consciousness. Today most educated people are aware of the mystery of consciousness, yet the overwhelming majority of them believe consciousness to be the result of the operation of the brain, despite the absence of any real evidence to support that claim. A few researchers believe instead that consciousness may be an irreducible property of nature.
This talk will first describe the essential and unique aspects of consciousness that need to be explained by a successful theory, and the main ideas and research directions behind the current efforts toward the development of a scientific theory of consciousness. The bulk of the talk will be the presentation of a conceptual framework developed by the speaker that defines the critical requirements for a mathematical theory of consciousness, and is a necessary guide to the creation of a mathematical theory of reality under the assumption that consciousness is an irreducible property of nature. The talk will conclude with the author's views about the possible future developments in this field.
