Revealing Nature Being Society:  Distinctions seen across twenty years of photographic documentation

Drawing on more than twenty years of observation, Atala Toy presents recent work in direct communication with nature beings—living intelligences present in trees, stones, and landscapes.

This presentation examines how sustained attention reveals pattern and variation in nature beings. As perception refines, consistent forms become recognizable. Differences shaped by environment, variation within species, and distinctions indicating differentiated roles within nature being society also become clear. These observations are supported by detailed photographic documentation.
